ABOUT ME

As founder of Body Matters, I have more than 20 years of experience in Christian higher education as a Christian ethics professor, student life professional, and senior administrator. Currently I am the Vice President for Student Life at Northwestern College (IA). A graduate of Duke Divinity School, my expertise in Christian sexual ethics has made me a frequent speaker at churches and Christian colleges/universities. My writing on sexual and reproductive ethics has been published in Christianity Today and the New York Times. I started Body Matters because I am passionate about helping Christian communities think more deeply and faithfully about sex and the body.
